What addons do you use while raiding?: zperl, bartender, DBM, recount


What are your computer specs? Average ping?: i can run WoW on ultra at 200 fps with and average of 40 ping


We use Discord for our guild's voice chat during raids. It is required for any organized event or activity the guild runs. You must have a working mic and headphones are preferred. Is any of this going to be a problem?: none at all


Do you have an Authenticator? : I do not

Do you know your class well enough to teach it to someone else? Prove that you are as good as we expect. Go into as much or as little detail about what makes someone a master of your current class/spec, and show us how that is reflected in your own logs:
Although I'm not the best teacher and the class is still somewhat new, I believe I would be able to teach someone the ways of a Havoc Demon Hunter. I believe what makes someone a master at a spec/class is knowing the in's and out's of your class as a whole, a total understanding of your rotation, stat priority, and of course, raid awareness. You can have the best gear in the game with the highest enchantments and gems, but unless you have a lock-down on what your class requires and how to play your spec, you are going to do absolutely nothing.


What made you consider applying to ICNH?: I saw a post made by Notprotspec in trade chat looking for a havoc Demon Hunter and I thought I would give it a go.


Tell us about your last guild. Why did you leave and why are you choosing us over them? Do you have anyone who can vouch for you?: This would actually be my first guild on this realm


Tell us about your raiding history and whether or not you have had any leadership or roles of responsibility in previous raid groups / guilds.: I raided all the way through out LK to Cata Heroic raiding, Pandaria, and most of WoD Heroic Raiding but I quit playing the game shortly after HFC came out. I was mostly always a mDPS but I would occasionally tank if the guild needed it but DPS is my forte. I used to run my own raids back in LK and Cata but if I were to be honest, I haven't done much of it since then.


How well do you handle criticism and instruction?: I like to be a perfectionist at whatever I do so if there is a way that I can improve myself, whether I am DPSing or tanking, I will take notes and listen to whomever to better benefit myself as well as the Guild.


What secondary specs or alternative characters do you feel you play at a similar level to your main? Do you have sufficient gear to be raid viable with these specs/characters? What recent experience do you have playing them? Would you be comfortable playing any of these alts as your main if you were accepted (Link the armory page of each applicable alt)? : Lately I have been going Vengeance but I've only ever done Mythic and Heroic dungeons with Vengeance. I wouldn't say its terrible, but it's also not the spec I excel the most in either.


We currently raid Wednesdays & Thursdays 8pm - 11pm CST. Is there anything that could possibly affect your attendance during these times and days?: Not at all. And if something were to come up and I could not attend, I have the mobile app to let somebody know ahead of time.

Well other than being a gamer, my other main hobby is playing guitar. Some of my favorite bands include Gun N Roses (all time favorite), Avenged Sevenfold, KISS, Pantera, Black Label Society, Bullet for My Valentine, and the list goes on. Currently I own 7 guitars. Other than being a music junkie, I am also a huge Joker fanatic, all the way from having a Joker tattoo, which I'm also addicted to, to various collectibles. At this point, I believe i have spent upwards of $2k on ink. Um, what else, what else.....oh! Other than just WoW, I play Overwatch, Mortal Kombat X, CoD (seldom), Heroes of The Storm....my mind is drawing a blank, I'm not used to being put on the spot. And by the way, MK and God of War are most definitely 2 of my all time favorite game series. This last part is kind of all over the place but you can call me Dan or Danny in game/Discord, I feel that would probably the easiest to remember. Also as a side note, I have a Scottish/Irish accent. Some people found that entertaining the last time I was in discord, haha. So yeah....that's me. Oh wait, I forgot a joke.

Sorry for the delayed reply - been crazy busy! We will look over the application this weekend together and get back to you. We're also going to check the logs and see how you did in the first week and pretty much go from there.

By the way Pantera is pretty good (Cowboys From Hell is easily my favorite song of theirs) and I'm a huge fan of Avenged Sevenfold as well. I only have 3 guitars so I'm definitely not as hardcore as you and I haven't played them in years unfortunately. We have a lot of people around here who play Heroes of the Storm so we'd be happy to have an extra person along when there's available room!

I have 2 guitars, and can't play either of them. :(

Lol typically officers look over the application and see if it's a good fit and if the person is up to the quality we're looking for. We don't do voting like that for raider applications.
