Hey there everyone. In an effort to maintain consistency in the raid group and facilitating the most organized and consistent group possible, we've decided it was time to make a few changes to our absence policy.

We feel like any important changes in your schedules or events that pop up should be known well enough in advance to give us ample notice that you're going to miss a raid and allow us to fill the spot you are leaving for that week or day.

We are striving to do mythics in some capacity this time around - and that means we can't be wondering whether or not members of raiding core will or will not be there for a night of progression raiding.

Also remember that attendance and consistency is taken into account with gear upgrades in our loot council. If someone is very spotty on attendance we're obviously going to give gear to someone we know will actually use it on a consistent, weekly basis.

Going forward - any raid you miss without giving us at least 5 days notice will result in an unexcused absence. We feel this is adequate time for you to be given a new schedule or event with work, family members, vacation, etc and would therefore give us enough time to make arrangements for that following week when you'll be gone.

Now obviously, and this should go without saying, emergencies and last minute things do happen and we will not penalize someone for going through anything like this. "Hey my friends called and we went to see a movie" is not going to be covered in an excused "emergency" that would prevent you from getting an unexcused absence. Should anything come up you will need to notify Liam or myself ASAP so we can make arrangements. Our numbers are available to you on request (or you can check the guild note of our characters and they should have our numbers in them) so you can text or call us should anything come up.

We are allowing all members a maximum of TWO (2) unexcused absences before we will be replacing that member until a later, to be determined date on a case by case basis. The "timer" will reset about a month and a half from the time of your first unexcused absence (this time span is subject to change, but if it does, it'll go broader, not more narrow).
